Secrets of Success

How do you communicate effectively with your coworkers?

We can definitely choose friends and people we go out with every day, but we certainly can not choose the colleagues we work with every day or even the team we work with. Whatever sector or field you work in, you will inevitably have to face situations that force you to work with people with different personalities and interests.
That is  a reality that we all have to deal with.
In fact, there are ongoing changes in the work environment. Diversity today is an important element in companies, so you have to work with people of different ages from different nationalities and cultures. Remember that you spend 8 hours a day with these people, so it's very important to communicate effectively with them so you can achieve your common goals. Building friendly
relationships with them will help you do your daily tasks more effectively.
No doubt you are wondering now how to do this.
Here are some tips to help you communicate effectively with your colleagues and learn from all the challenges you face. Remember that everyone you meet today teaches you something new.

1- Focus on your goals

Ignore the differences between you and your colleagues and focus on the things that bring you together. While you may work with people from different departments or professional levels, remember that you are all working towards the same goals as your company.

We tend to focus on what separates us from others rather than what brings us together. Always think about things that you share with your colleagues. It will help you build a positive relationship with them (you do not have to fall in love with the person in front of you. Common objectives).
Another misconception is our belief that we are the only ones who work, while others waste their time in vain.
If you feel that way, you can go to your colleagues and inquire in a friendly way and not bossy about the projects they are currently working on. You may find that they have more tasks than you do.

2-Do not misunderstand others:

We tend to be very sensitive when our professional performance is criticized. The first thing that comes to mind when facing this situation is the hatred of our manager or others.
Keep in mind that there is no perfect and flawless job in the business world, so try to consider criticism as constructive feedback to improve your weaknesses.
Your manager and colleagues would like to help you develop your skills and work more effectively to achieve your common goals at the end of each month and year, and it is not a grudge or accusation.
There are many other situations that make us think worse of others, including work pressure. People often delay the task of responding to your emails when they are under great pressure. Do not assume that they ignore you. You can remind them in a tactful and polite way by sending another email or going to their office. You do not know why they do not respond to your mail.

3-Ask questions:
Denial and denial are often the main cause of most problems at work. The refusal of staff to recognize their lack of understanding of a task exacerbates the problem.
Remember that your colleagues are the best who can help you with a new project or program. Be sure to take advantage of any advice they give you. They may have gone through the same experience as you do now. It's okay if you ask for help!
People generally like to talk about themselves or to participate in dialogues related to their area of expertise.
If you do not know the area of competence of each of your colleagues, ask them and know their hobbies and things they like to do. You can follow this method to start a conversation with someone you talk to for the first time, and then you can ask for the help you need.
This approach is effective in most workplaces, helping you connect with people of different cultures and nationalities. Whatever the differences are, remember that you are all working towards the same goals and developing your company.

5-Communicate clearly and effectively:

Avoid a quick reaction on a problem occurs, but keep calm and think carefully before saying anything that might negatively affect your relationship or career. Wait an hour or two or even a day before making a note, and this will give you a chance to think carefully.
In cause  the problem or misbehave someone unintentionally, go and apologize to him and admit your mistake.
